Familiar with workstation and server architecture, network infrastructure, and data transmission methodologies. Logs and tracks work using problem management database, and maintains history records and related problem documentation.
Create, deploy and maintain Windows / Linux desktop and notebook distribution packages for software applications. Operate, maintain and manage Windows/Linux based systems supporting a software development environment.
The position requires strong written and oral communication skills. Experience in classified lab environments is required. Candidate should be capable and prepared to provide Tier I customer support, consisting of hardware and software.
Conduct systems analysis and development to keep systems current with changing technologies, including installing new software, troubleshooting, granting permissions to applications, and training users.
