In this role, you will work collaboratively with an Agile development team to design, develop, and test Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) applications. Design, develop, and test Oracle ADF or BPM applications by leveraging out-of-the-box ADF components.
The ideal candidate will be the responsible individual for the design, implementation, and verification of software systems, subsystems, components, and tools possessing significant functionality. The candidate will also analyze the software implementation of existing sensor and simulation systems to identify, prototype, and recommend performance and quality improvements.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide support for 3D graphical simulation software development, test, integration and resulting application operation in the area of advanced sensor technology.
The selected candidate for this position should be familiar with EO/IR systems and operations as well as simulation and modeling approaches. The candidate will join a team of engineers in system modeling efforts, simulation execution, component and system analysis, and assist in support of Verification, Validation and Accreditation (VV&A) efforts inside a multiple component system.
The candidate will work as part of a highly motivated visualization/training team to build high profile products that will ultimately be delivered to company customers for the purpose of reducing training cost by significantly reducing or eliminating the need for high cost HW trainers.
In this role, you will be responsible for working with product managers and other stakeholders to get clarification on business requirements and then implementing solutions including code development and database design.
The candidate must be proficient with C++ (C++11 and C++14 a plus) and object oriented design. Expertise with Windows and Linux operating systems as well as embedded systems, network programming, symmetric multi-processing/multi-threading, is required.
The successful candidate's tasks may include development of models and simulations for SLS, development of algorithms and software for a commercial, military and business aviation next generation flight planning system, and other Software Engineering activities led and supported by ADaPS.
In this role, you will support exercises, experiments, demonstrations, and test events. These events will include but not be limited to integration testing with interfacing systems; interoperability tests with coalition partners; joint certification testing.
