The incumbent must develop and administer plant policy, interacting with the Plant Engineer, Director Human Resources and Product Managers to insure fair and consistent application of policy across all departmental and organizational boundaries.
This individual will develop the manufacturing plans, programs and practices which will achieve effective, efficient and safe operations while insuring maximum utilization of all manufacturing personnel and facilities in accordance with planned inventory levels and quality standards.
The Operations & Maintenance Manager provides general maintenance supervision and professional direction for comprehensive facilities services, which includes but is not limited to facilities maintenance, operations and repairs, and other maintenance services within the scope of the contract.
Ensure efficient operation of the plant through planning, installation, maintenance and repair of the facility infrastructure including production machinery, electrical and mechanical systems via internal resources.
This position will be directly responsible for leading and managing all plant operations of this 150 person site. A key focus for this individual will be in driving safety, asset care and reliability, net cost productivity and continually developing the plant staff for future leadership roles.
The ideal candidate will possess experience with responsibilities for meeting technical solutions for areas and programs that provide composite primary and secondary structures for commercial aircraft.
Coordinates all plant activities by working with Production and Departmental Managers to ensure that total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely, cost effective and efficient manner using LEAN manufacturing processes.
