In this role, you will provide professional nursing services to accomplish the individual patient plan of care; independently and consistently using the nursing process to safely, therapeutically, and efficiently care for a full assignment of patients with subtle and sometimes unidentified needs.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible and accountable for planning directing, assessing and providing nursing care according to the policies and procedures of the hospital and department.
The OB/Labor & Delivery Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments, and ability to work independently in completing assignments. Guidelines include physicians orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, hospital policies.
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development.
The selected candidate will access, analyze, customize, coordinate and communicate the patients plan of care and activities collaboratively with other members of the health care team. Families and or significant others will be included within the plan of care as appropriate.
In this position you will act in a leadership role, responsible for the daily operations of the Unit in the absence of the manager; providing direction, supervision and coaching / precepting to department staff.
In this role, the selected candidate must have experience including all phases of operating room technique such as preparing operating room units, preparing patients for surgery, and assisting medical officer during surgery; and conducting instrument and equipment sterilization procedures.
In this position you will be accountable for the delivery and supervision of safe, quality care that is individualized for their assigned patients and follows the nursing process in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act ( assessment, planning implementation, evaluation ).
In this role, the selected candidate will assemble equipment and supply for various diagnostic or treatment procedures in the specialty service area; performs or assists others with procedures or treatments.
