About Nicholas Beim
Nick Beim sits on the Board of Directors for TheLadders, where he has served as a Director since 2004. He is a General Partner at Matrix Partners, a global venture capital firm, where he focuses primarily on Internet and software companies. In addition to TheLadders, his investments at Matrix include Care.com, Conductor, Gilt Groupe, Intent Media, and JBoss (acquired by Red Hat). Prior to Matrix, Nick advised a variety of technology companies on strategic, operational, and financial issues at McKinsey & Company and Goldman Sachs.
Additionally, Nick serves on the board of Endeavor, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping entrepreneurs in developing countries.
Nick holds a Master of Philosophy from the University of Oxford, where he was a Marshall Scholar, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University.
