Branding Expert Robert Turtledove Joins TheLadders.com as Chief Marketing Officer

World-Class Consumer Marketing Executive to Help Drive Global Expansion of Leading Executive Job Search Website <Back

NEW YORK (June 4, 2007)- TheLadders.com, the world's leading $100,000+ jobs website, announced today that Robert Turtledove has joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, Turtledove will help lead the global brand expansion of TheLadders.com.

A seasoned executive with experience across a number of revered marketing and communications programs, Turtledove brings 24 years of consumer marketing expertise to TheLadders.com. He has held positions with some of the world's most well-known brands and companies including PepsiCo and YumBrands, Metromedia Restaurant Group, Frito-Lay and Lever Brothers.

Turtledove joins TheLadders.com from Metromedia Restaurant Group, a $1.2 billion chain of 800 US and international restaurants, which includes Bennigan's, Steak and Ale, Ponderosa and Bonanza Steakhouses. He served most recently as the Chief Concept Officer. Turtledove joined Metromedia from LiveAdvice.com, an Internet-based information service where he was as Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to that Turtledove had a successful tenure with PepsiCo and YumBrands, where he held a variety of senior marketing positions, including Vice President, Marketing for Pizza Hut International's 4,000 restaurants around the world. Turtledove has also led marketing initiatives on the agency side for Mountain Dew and Frito Lay's Tostitos and Lay's brands. His career in brand management began at Lever Brothers in South Africa.

Born and raised in Zimbabwe and educated under their British public school system, Turtledove received his Bachelor of Business Science degree, with honors, from the University of Cape Town in South Africa. Currently residing in Plano, TX, Turtledove and his family are in the process of relocating to New York City, home of TheLadders.com headquarters.
