Douzet is a co-founder of TheLadders.com and Executive Vice President, TheLadders.com Europe. Chefitz, an angel investor in TheLadders.com, is a Founding Partner of Egis Capital Partners, a leading private equity fund. Combining world class marketing expertise with proven business instincts, Douzet and Chefitz will help lead the global expansion of TheLadders.com.

"Alex and Robert have been two of the key masterminds behind the meteoric growth of TheLadders.com from a small start-up in 2003 to the top $100k+ jobs website in the world in 2007, with 1.5 million members and 35,000 recruiters," said Marc Cenedella, president and CEO of TheLadders.com. "I look forward to their continued guidance as we take our paid-search model to even greater heights in the years to come."

Douzet adds the Directorship to his current role as Executive Vice President, TheLadders.com Europe, where he is charged with expanding the company's presence throughout the Pan European marketplace. Widely regarded as one of the top interactive and direct marketers in the world, Douzet is responsible for growing TheLadders.com subscription base from zero to over one million members in just three years. Prior to TheLadders.com, Douzet was Director of Online Marketing at HotJobs.com. Douzet holds an M.B.A. from INSEAD; a master's degree in direct marketing from New York University, where he received the "Lester Wunderman" Award; and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Lyon III in France.

About his appointment to TheLadders.com Board of Directors, Douzet said: "It is a thrill to be a part of the growth of this company. We have built a dream team and I look forward to helping to harness the potential of this amazing group of people across the organization."

Chefitz, who was one of the first investors in TheLadders.com in 2004, has provided vital counsel to the company, drawing on his over 25 years of private equity experience. Prior to launching Egis Capital Partners, Chefitz was a General Partner at Apax Partners in New York for 15 years. He has had extensive experience in all aspects of private equity from seed investments to leveraged buyouts. Chefitz served as a first round investor in Office Depot, Protection One and PageNet, all of which achieved multi-billion dollar market caps. He currently sits on the Boards of several private and public companies.

"The potential for this company is larger than any other company I have previously invested in, including Office Depot," said Chefitz. "When I made my investment in TheLadders.com I knew it was a good concept in the hands of a brilliant entrepreneur. Now, it is a great company that is altering the paradigm of online executive recruiting and corporate staffing. I look forward to helping the management team achieve even bigger goals as we expand into more markets and reach even more of the world's top talent."
