TheLadders.com Names Alain Benzaken Vice President of Technology

Internet Pioneer at Priceline.com and Prodigy Tapped to Lead Technology for Executive Job Search Web Site <Back

NEW YORK (July 11, 2005) - TheLadders.com, the world's leading $100k+ jobs search engine, today announced that Alain Benzaken has joined the company as Vice President, Technology. In this role, Benzaken will oversee all Web site operations and spearhead new technology development.

Benzaken was an executive at Priceline.com from 1998 through 2002, serving most recently as Vice President, Development, International Systems, where he launched e-commerce travel products in Europe and Asia, and was the architect of Priceline.com's Customer Systems. Benzaken also spent eleven years on the Web frontier at Prodigy Services Corporation, where he was a developer of the company's proprietary Web Browser and editorial tools.

Before joining Priceline.com, Benzaken founded Gameline, LLC., a developer of fantasy sports products that were co-marketed with Sports Illustrated, FoxSports, and ESPN. Benzaken also held senior positions at Ground Travel Technology Team, Inc. (GT3) where he led efforts to build a national ground transportation reservations system. He recently consulted for TravelWorm.com and has also served as a consultant to IBM, a developer of Educational Games and an Engineer at Sperry Corporation. He holds a bachelor's degree in physics from Columbia and a master's degree in physics from Yale.
