I started TheLadders.com six years ago with the idea that talented people needed a place to stand apart from the tidal wave of internet applications. And in today's horrible economic environment, it seems to me that that idea is more important than ever.

Well, the great news is: it's working and the idea is spreading. Sure, there are a lot of free internet job sites you can go to. But then again, so can everybody else, including unqualified people.
