Job Description





Manages E-Commerce Web Enhancement projects between IS Development, BSD Corporate Management, Region IS Managers and BSD Field Sales Organization. Manages Web Development projects. Creates with IS Development web site design, system flow, data architecture and back-end linkage methods. Collects business requirements, writing specifications and provides recommendations and technical solutions to solve business needs. Provides tactical and strategic guidance to E-Commerce. 

The E-Commerce Project Manager is responsible for the technical integration between Office Depot and customers using external interface applications. Candidate must be proficient in cXML, xCBL, and EDI document types. 












Job Responsibilities





The E-Commerce Project Manager is responsible for the technical integration between Office Depot and customers using external interface applications. Candidate must be proficient in cXML, xCBL, and EDI document types. 

• Manages external interface integrations projects with Office Depot’s B2B customers 
o PM gathers initial information such as document type, system software, marketsite, experience and resources to determine how best Office Depot can meet customer specifications, the scope and timeline of the integration. 
o Analysis of customer technical specifications 
o Promote Standard EDI/XML mapping 
o Provide Requirements to B2B IT for custom mapping, enhancements and/or fixes 
o Manage and Execute customer testing on integrations, enhancements and/or fixes 
• Research, evaluate and define technical specifications for new platforms 
• Responsible for partnering with third party vendors/Marketsites to remain experts of B2B best practices to implement best in class customer integrations. 
• Manage relationships with existing External Interface customers 
• Coordinate with all levels of BSD Sales, Implementation Team and IT to ensure efficient and effective integrations. 
• Respond to customer bids/RFPs as needed 
• Troubleshoot EDI/XML related issues – with customer and 3rd Party Vendors 
• Manages special projects, testing and upgrades to 3rd party vendors
